Customer Service Agreement & Terms

The terms that apply when you book cleaning services with us. Straightforward, in plain language, and the same for every customer.

Clear Canvas Cleaners LLC
Effective Date: 8/22/2026

By booking or purchasing cleaning services from Clear Canvas Cleaners LLC (“Clear Canvas Cleaners,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the customer agrees to the following terms.

1. Payment Authorization

By providing a payment method and booking services, the customer represents that they are the cardholder or are authorized to use the payment method provided and authorizes Clear Canvas Cleaners LLC to charge that payment method for the services ordered and other amounts expressly authorized under this Agreement.

Payment for cleaning services is due upon completion of service.

Clear Canvas Cleaners may place an authorization hold on the customer's payment method up to 48 hours before the scheduled service to verify the payment method and availability of funds.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a $35 cancellation fee.

Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a $25 rescheduling fee.

Clear Canvas Cleaners may waive either fee at its discretion.

3. Completed Services, Quality Concerns & Refunds

Cleaning services that have been performed are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly approved by Clear Canvas Cleaners.

Any quality concern must be reported within 24 hours after completion of service.

The customer agrees to provide Clear Canvas Cleaners a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, when appropriate, correct or re-perform the affected portion of the service.

A complaint regarding service quality does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

4. Service Documentation

The customer authorizes Clear Canvas Cleaners and its service providers to maintain reasonable documentation of services, including before-and-after photographs, timestamps, service records, checklists, and provider notes.

Such documentation may be used for quality assurance, verification of services performed, property-condition or damage documentation, customer-service resolution, payment verification, and dispute resolution.

This authorization does not by itself authorize Clear Canvas Cleaners to publicly use identifiable photographs of the customer's property for advertising.

5. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

Initiating a payment dispute, chargeback, reversal, or similar payment action does not by itself cancel services already performed or extinguish an otherwise valid payment obligation for services authorized and rendered.

Where permitted by applicable law and this Agreement, an unpaid valid balance may include the amount owed for services, applicable returned-payment or late-payment fees, and actual documented merchant-processing, dispute, collection, postage, court, or other recoverable costs incurred in collecting the valid balance.

Nothing in this Agreement limits any consumer right or payment-dispute right that cannot legally be waived.

6. Returned Payments & Past-Due Balances

A rejected, returned, or dishonored payment may be subject to a fee of up to $30 where permitted by law.

Past-due balances may be subject to a $30 late fee where permitted by law.

Clear Canvas Cleaners may pursue unpaid valid balances through lawful collection methods or legal proceedings.

7. Access to the Property

The customer is responsible for providing reasonable and timely access to the property at the scheduled service time.

If service cannot be performed because access was not provided, Clear Canvas Cleaners may treat the appointment as a late cancellation and apply the applicable cancellation policy.

8. Scope of Service

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the property, requested services, and condition of the premises.

Services or conditions materially outside the originally booked scope may require additional time, charges, or customer approval before additional work is performed.

9. Damage & Pre-Existing Conditions

Customers should secure valuables and notify Clear Canvas Cleaners of unusually fragile items or pre-existing damage.

Any claim concerning alleged property damage should be reported promptly so Clear Canvas Cleaners has a reasonable opportunity to investigate and document the condition.

10. Communications

The customer agrees that Clear Canvas Cleaners may send transactional communications reasonably related to the customer's booking, including appointment confirmations, reminders, service updates, payment notifications, receipts, and customer-service communications.

Marketing communications remain subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

11. Electronic Acceptance

Electronic acceptance of this Agreement, including acceptance through an online booking form or required checkbox, constitutes the customer's agreement to these terms.

Clear Canvas Cleaners may maintain electronic records showing the date, time, version, and other available information associated with the customer's acceptance.

12. Changes to These Terms

Clear Canvas Cleaners may update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply prospectively based on the terms presented and accepted in connection with the applicable booking or service.

13. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
